"Overall, are stay was mediocre at best. When we arrived, there was a very unappealing smell by the fitness center/elevator area. When we checked into our room, the bathroom and shower area were dirty. It was clear that the floorboard area was not wiped clean, the shower had hair in it. We only had three towels in our room for 4 guests, and when we went to swim, there were no swim towels. The reception only had one extra towel and no swimming towels."

"Dirty microwave and coffee maker, missing bulb in bathroom, blown bulb above sink, hole in the wall where an outlet must have been, towels were clean but had a smell of being in storage. Very dated interior but functional. God enough to sleep for one evening."

"This place was wonderful! It was better than advertised. The room had everything you need for your stay, Sherry the host obviously put a lot of thought into it. Sherry was great to work with and the Horseshoe bar and grill had excellent pizza. The view of the lake is beautiful, especially when the sun comes up. We would definitely recommend this cottage and will hopefully stay there again. "
